You know what really bothers me? How the creative people behind the naming of the games have to make so many games that’re for the Nintendo DS system have the initials DS in the subtitle. We get it, the name of the system is DS. Yes, it’s clever, we know.
Seriously.
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword
Advance Wars: Duel Strike
Guilty Gear Dust Strikers
Lunar: Dragon Song
Mage Knight: Destiny’s Soldier
Tenchu: Dark Secret
World Championship Poker: Deluxe Series
Guess that’s about it. If I ever got to pick the name of Resident Evil 5, I would name the PS3 iteration:
Resident Evil: Pray for your Soul or Purging Souls (Sounds dark, yes?)
As an end note, I am also bothered by the fact that there exists a ‘Nacho Libre’ game. Just for the record. But that’s a whole other post.
