Last night after watching Terminator 2 in its entirety, I realised that I really like the Terminator series. I’m not sure if this makes me more of a nerd than previously thought, or if it’s just par for the course when you’re a class 78 Nerd like me. Either way. I like Terminator, and I’m finding myself truly wishing that Terminator 4 would just come out already as well as checking to see that I’m all set up to record the Sarah Connor Chronicles. It’s strange, I know. But the real question is: Why do robots need guns when they have arms? Here’s a tasty clip to watch from T2 while you ponder that brain buster.

Are you planning to check out the ‘Sarah Conner Chronicles’ on Fox Sunday 1/13 and Monday 1/14 (before it settles down to a weekly)? I am hoping it’s good. I hear you can see a free preview of the pilot before it airs on TV at tv.yahoo.com starting at 9PM Friday 1/4 (it will be available for only 24 hours).
On a semi-related note, there is no truth to the rumor that Arnold Schwarzeneggar will be playing a classical composer in a flick to be lensed once he leaves office. Although, given a choice of which musical genius he’d like to portray, he was heard saying, “I’ll be Bach.”
(sorry)
I don’t think Robots “need” guns, but as strong as their arms are, there are times when projectile weapons come in handy.
Unless, of course, they have retractable arms like Inspector Gadget.
