So I’m Carol.
I really enjoy horror films, zombies, slasher flicks, etc. I tend to lean more toward suspenseful movies, where people actually have a chance of escape, rather than the Saw-esque locked in a room and tortured flicks. I just don’t see the point of those movies. We get it, everyone’s going to die. Horribly. I just don’t understand why people want to see other people getting mangled to death, no fighting chance, all snot, tears, and empty begging. It just makes me feel sick inside. My ideal flick would be the remake of ‘Dawn of the Dead’ or ‘the Amittyville Horror’ remake. (Ironically enough, I hate remakes.)
My all-time greatest passion however, is video games. I live for games. LIVE! I love survival horror, action horror, action adventure, rpg, platforming, puzzle, arcade… I really just love all games. Except for sports games, I just can’t get into those, unless it’s like golf or Wii sports. Oh, and skateboarding games are pretty sweet as well. My favorite game series of all time used to be Resident Evil, but has recently been bumped by God of War. Sorry umbrella, I’ve got to mess with the gods!
As far as my personal life goes, I work for an internet company writing and managing websites, which is fun work. I get to guest blog at an awesome game site:) and work with all kinds of rocking, crazy people. I’ve been married for a little over a year to my husband, Raakay, who’s not only the coolest human alive, he’s also totally amenable to being my trophy/house husband once i’ve struck oil in the business sense.
I guess that’s me in a nutshell.
